Dr. Kimmell earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry in 2006. Since then, he has dedicated his career to providing medical eye care, with special interests in dry eye disease, medical cornea, glaucoma management, and pre- and post-operative cataract care. He has authored published articles and has presented to fellow eye care professionals on topics he is passionate about.
Outside the office, Dr. Kimmell and his wife, Rachel, are the proud parents of three sons and share their home with Remy, their standard poodle. He has served as a deacon at Edgewood Baptist Church for many years. In his free time, he enjoys metal fabrication, heavy mechanic work, and cheering on his sons as they compete in a variety of sports.
